Äger och driver företaget Kyllesjö Skog AB som utbildar inom skogsbrand och naturvårdsbränning. Startade arbeta med bränningar 2003. Erbjuder stöd åt räddningstjänsten vid insatser, samt tolkning av brandrisker i förebyggande syfte. Bidrog under branden i Västmanland, med rådgivning och brandspridningsprognoser under närmare 2 veckor till staben. Har efter branden 2014 utbildat över 350 befäl , samt ett stort antal brandmän från räddningstjänster över hela landet. Utnämnd av tidningen Land, 2015 till den person som gjort störst avtryck inom skogsbranschen, – tack vare utbildning av räddningstjänst.

Har jobbat med naturvårdsbränning och skogsbrand i 6 år och idag bränningsledare för ett lag som jobbar främst i södra Sverige. Gick utbildning inom skogsbrandsbeteende med kanadensiska instruktörer 2014. Jobbar annars med skogsförvaltning och skogsskötsel.
In 1999 Wade started his career in fire management working in operations as a crew member on an initial attack crew. This crew was trained to suppress fire both from the ground and from the air using helicopters. In 2002 he became a crew leader for an initial attack crew. This crew was heavily involved in the planning, ignition, and suppression of several prescribed fires as well as responsible for wildfire suppression and management. In 2007 he became a fire base supervisor where he was in control of both aerial and ground resources. During his tenure as a fire base supervisor he received several national level certifications in the field of prescribed burn planning and fire behaviour. He used these certifications to obtain seasonal contracts with the provincial government of Saskatchewan with the Ecosystem Conservation branch to plan and execute several complex prescribed fires. During his time as a fire base supervisor he was a type 1 Operations Chief and worked on several large fire management teams on a variety of wildfire incidents. His roles included everything from Task Force Leader to Operations Chief to Helicopter Coordinator. As well, Wade worked during the non-operational season as a provincial training officer developing and delivering a wide variety of operational and planning courses to ministry staff. In 2010 Wade joined the Aviation Operations Branch as an Air Attack Officer whose role is to oversee and command multiple numbers of resources of varying types from ground personnel to large Air Tankers. With his role as an Air Attack officer a specific expertise and emphasis is placed on the tactics and strategies of aerial firefighting suppression using a variety of fixed wing and rotary wing resources.
Wade resides in Edmonton Alberta during the winters and wherever the fires are burning in North America in the spring and summer.
